Clinical Director
Ciarra Dozier began her career in addiction treatment and behavioral health in 2011. She started her current role as Clinical Director of South Coast Behavioral Health in Oklahoma City in 2023.
Ciarra graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Argosy University and received a Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling from Mid-America University in Oklahoma City. She brings specialized training in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Seeking Safety Evidence-Based Practices to her role as Clinical Director. She is also certified in the Addiction Severity Inventory Assessment, which adds to her ability to treat complex clinical cases.
Her professional experience includes roles at Southern Oklahoma Treatment Services and Landmark Recovery in Oklahoma City. At Southern Oklahoma Treatment Services, she began as a CADC Candidate, progressed to a LADC/MH Candidate, and was then promoted to Clinical Director. At Landmark Recovery, she started as a group therapist, moved on to facilitating individual therapy, and was then promoted to Clinical Director. These roles have equipped her with extensive experience in managing and structuring clinical programs that cater to the needs of her clients.
Ciarra’s passion for helping others stems from her early career in childcare. During that time, she recognized the significant impact that family dynamics, particularly parental challenges, have on children’s behavior. This realization motivated her to pursue a career in counseling, focusing on providing support to individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health issues.
Ciarra finds her work immensely rewarding, particularly the opportunity to be part of each client’s healing journey. She takes pride in witnessing their progress over time and helping them navigate the complexities of life. Outside of her professional life, Ciarra enjoys spending quality time with her family and traveling. She grew up in Midwest City, Oklahoma, where she continues to reside, staying close to her roots while making a meaningful impact in her community.
